PRODUCTIVITY

Most consumers are unaware of the influence of nutrition on productivity inside and outside the workplace.  To begin this topic at the beginning, let's
start with breakfast!

Dieting Myth
==========
A "diet" is doomed from the start.   If it's not something that you like as part of a new healthier lifestyle, it will
probably not last, contribute to becoming more lean, or help you become more physiologically fit.

One example is eating too few calories!  A healthy breakfast is the most important meal of the day in order to promote a steady intake for the rest of the day and avoid mid-morning/afternoon crashes in blood sugar levels.  Too many "dieters" try to skip breakfast in an attempt to limit overall calorie intake.

Bad move!

Not only should the breakfast be healthy but it should also be accompanied by at least two big glasses of water or water mixed with juice.  Why?

Because we lose plenty of water while we sleep, essentially dehydrating us, and liquids at breakfast are our first chance at staying hydrated throughout the day.

Question:  What is the first sign of dehydration?  Thirst or Fatigue?

Answer:  Fatigue!  Thirst lags far behind our actual state of hydration.  Basically, by the time you feel thirst, its almost too late to get back to peak performance in the short term!

For steadier productivity throughout the day, drink plenty of fluids and break the fast!
